Titan

The day started with a heavy shower that had the Titans huddled under a tree and the covers set up on the bowlers run ups. As the rain subsided, Titans leapt into action both as ground staff, drying the pitch up and as fielders, running through the practice drills. The umpire decided that there was enough time to play a full 20/20 game. The toss went the way of the Titans and skipper Tiki decided to have his bowlers make first use of the wet pitch.

A Rebirth. On a highly anticipated & overcast June day, the Palm Beach Titans commenced their 2019 South Florida Cricket Alliance 20 over campaign. Game 1 of the 2019 SFCA 20 over regular season was played against Southshore CC at the Titans home ground of John Prince Park. Palm Beach Titans won the toss and elected to bat first. 15 Titans were available for the first game of the 20 over season and all 15 showed up for their club. The revamped and reinforced squad took the field with proper Titan vigor and solid contributions from the supporting cast.

On a sweltering, hot late June day, the Palm Beach Titans continued their 2019 South Florida Cricket Alliance 20 over campaign. Game 2 of the 2019 SFCA 20 over regular season was played against perennial rivals (& Titans extended family), Port St. Lucie at the Titans home ground of John Prince Park. Palm Beach Titans won the toss and elected to bat first. With several frontline players missing for various reasons for this match, some of the Titan’s supporting cast had to step up to the plate for their squad.
