Titan

The Titans continued the 2014 40 over season with game 2 vs Palm Beach 2. Game 2 of the 2014 40 over campaign would be played at the Titan’s home ground of Miramar Regional Park. Palm Beach 2 won the toss and elected to bat first. With a full 11 man squad with some newcomers, the Titans looked to follow Skipper Tiki’s direction & improve from Game 1.

The Titans began the 2014 40 over season playing against Port St. Lucie on Sunday February 9th, 2014. Game 1 of the 2014 40 over campaign would be played at Girl Scout Friendship Park. Titans won the toss and elected to bat first. It was an auspicious beginning given that we played with 9 players due to injuries & scheduling conflicts but that did not hamper the infamous Titan’s spirit & determination.

On an overcast day near Lake Okeechobee, the Titans continued their 2013 40 over campaign with game #2 vs. new league team, Palm Beach Eagles. With 5 normal first XI players unavailable for the game, the Titans won the toss and elected to bat.

The resurgence of the Titan’s 3 day intrasquad test match was highly anticipated by all teammates after a 2 year absence. The S squad were captained by 2013 incoming skipper Paul and consisted of a veteran squad. The V squad were captained by 2013 incoming vice-captain Chucky & consisted of a younger, youth oriented squad. The V squad won the toss and chose to put the S squad to bat. Scheduled test match dates are December 8,9 & 16, 2012.

On an eagerly awaited Sunday in June, Titans CC began their 2012 campaign in the 20/20 season against Paradise SC at Girl Scout Friendship Park.
