Titan

After the dust settled yesterday at John Prince Park...India United, whom Titans were hopeful would lose their game, had secured an amazing "tie".

It was supposed to be a FIRST XI opportunity to get warmed up for the upcoming SFCA T20 competition, but instead it turned out that 5 of the FIRST XI were not available and were replaced by A teamers.  In theory that would have made the game tougher...and I am not sure it did...in the end it was a comfortable and dominating victory winnign by 8 wickets with half the innings to spare.

With Miami Carnival and the Sri Lankan cricket festival on the books for his weekend...looks like we'll have to wait for the first game of the regular season to get the full FIRST XI out in whites and flex our muscles.

One win is better than none...albeit a forfeit...lol.

At the end of the day, it was a terrific learning experience for the youth.  No better way to learn than to be in the middle and they received that exposure in the competition.  Hopefully, they can analyze their individual games and work on getting better in the months to come.
