Titan Youth Selected To SE Regional U19 Team

Walt H. Rambaransingh

Titans youth player, Atul Thomas, 17, has been selected to represent South Florida in the national U19 cricket trials in Atlanta, Georgia on April 20th & 21st.  Atul began playing cricket in February 2012 after watching his beloved India team play in World Cup games.  It is almost unbelievable that Atul has only been playing cricket for 14 months.  He has practiced at least twice a week with his teammates from his cricket inception.  Atul has been the nucleus & driving force for practice, especially with his teammates living in Palm Beach.  He participated in the Southeast U19 trials on April 13th and successfully earned a spot as the 1-down batsman on the Southeast Regional U19 team.  Atul has worked diligently on his batting skills & his Titan teammates wish him the very best of luck as he takes the next step in attempting to earn a spot on the USA national U19 cricket team.  We are all very proud of you, Atul!
