Suthar's 84 In Vain.
Paul Dharmendra Ramkissoon | 12/07/2010The battle of the undefeated teams left Titans on the losing side. It was a hard fought game but in the end St. Bes prevailed. New batsman K. Suthar top scored for Titans with a truly special knock of 84 and spinner A. Rafi contributed a beautiful spell of 8-2-30-1, but it was not enough as St. Bes's good bowling and aggressive batting was too much for Titans on the day.

Paul Dharmendra Ramkissoon | 06/10/2010It was supposed to be a FIRST XI opportunity to get warmed up for the upcoming SFCA T20 competition, but instead it turned out that 5 of the FIRST XI were not available and were replaced by A teamers. In theory that would have made the game tougher...and I am not sure it did...in the end it was a comfortable and dominating victory winnign by 8 wickets with half the innings to spare.
With Miami Carnival and the Sri Lankan cricket festival on the books for his weekend...looks like we'll have to wait for the first game of the regular season to get the full FIRST XI out in whites and flex our muscles.
